UPDATES

Interested in giving a lightning talk? Propose one here! Attendance at the rest of Music Hack Day is not required.
Voluntary admission fees and donations are now being accepted here

The main goal of Music Hack Day is to explore and build the next generation of music applications. It's a full weekend of hacking in which participants will conceptualize, create and present their projects. Music + software + hardware + art + the web. Anything goes as long as it's music related.
This event will mostly be spent hacking. Talks will be limited.
While we do plan to have some talks and entertainment at the event, we're mostly interested in people who want to make stuff. That said, the demos and talks on Sunday afternoon will be open to a broader audience. See the preliminary schedule for details.
Join us for Music Hack Day Boston on November 21-22.
The first ever Music Hack Day took place in London at The Guardian on July 11-12 2009. 200 people and 10 companies participated, including Last.fm, the Echo Nest, SoundCloud, Songkick, RjDj and the BBC. Now we're bringing it across the pond. Let's make this one bigger and better!
